Our Components
The three main components of a complete fitness program should include the perfect combination of cardio, strength, and functional training. Our programs are designed to incorporate these three key elements:
CardioThe cardiovascular training incorporated in our programming is specifically designed for accelerated fat loss and increased stamina.
|
Strength
Correctly done, strength & resistance training increases lean muscle turning our bodies into a fat burning machines! More muscle means a higher resting metabolic rate. This means you will burn more fat 24 hours a day!
|
Function
Functional training teaches our brains how to use your new muscle. This means you "function" better outside of the gym, doing the things you love to do the most!

From a young age, I immersed myself in sports, competing in football, basketball, baseball, wrestling, and track throughout my time in school. Each sport demanded a different level of mental and physical discipline, shaping not just my body, but my mindset. That experience taught me the value of hard work, adaptability, and perseverance. I'm passionate about helping others discover that same strength within themselves. There's nothing more rewarding than watching someone realize they're capable of more than they ever imagined. Fitness is about more than just working out-it's about growth, confidence, and commitment to becoming your best self. |

I have known since the 4th frade that I wanted to be a teacher. At a very young age I developed a fascination and love of the wonderful machine we call the human body. After serving five years in the U.S. Navy, I graduated from the College of Charleston with a degree in physical education. I became a physical education teacher at C.E. Williams Middle School where I taught for over 30 years. Now, retired from teaching, I play golf, officiate high school wrestling and contine to teach the joy and benefits of exercise here at Method Training. Come join us and experience the joy and excitement of training with us! "I'm not telling you it's going to be easy... I'm telling you it's going to be worth it!" |

Hey Team! I just moved to Charleston from Tucson, Arizona and I am thankful to the Method Training community for how welcoming they have been! I studied at the Univeristy of Arizona where I received my B.S. in Biology. While at Arizona I also play D1A Rubgby and got my personal training certification. I love combining the functional techniques I've learned with the explosive training I've done as a college athlete. You can find me teaching, taking classes and working out at Method. Can't wait to se you at the gym! |
